Review: ASSASSIN'S CREED

Director: Justin Kurzel
Writer: Michael Lesslie, Adam Cooper and more.
Stars: Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons and more.

Assassin's creed is a movie based on the popular video game series of the same name.

GOOD:

  • The part in the past was really entertaining.
  • the star cast specially Michael Fassbender was excellent in their role.
  • Being a huge fan of the video game series I was worried they might not stick to the video game premise and might ruin the whole thing in that aspect but I am glad they didn't do it, the premise is that of the movie and I really liked that. We can also say that the movie had the games to thank for the premise and the whole lore of the movie, which is one of the few thing impressive about the movie.

BAD:

  • The interesting part of the movie (like the game) is when we go to the past i-e the part of the ancestors. but sadly the movie didn't give enough focus to that. its easier in the video game to show both generations i-e the present and the past because you have like over fifteen hours of game play but in a movie of two hours they should have just shown the animus in the beginning and just kept the movie in the past.
  • The animus is weird in this movie, perfectly good action scenes are ruined by cutting to the animus where the person in the animus is imitating what the assassin is doing in the past in real, and it really sucks.

Review: Happy Bhaag Jayegi

Writer & Director:  Mudassar Aziz
Stars: Diana penty, Abhay Deol Ali Fazal Jimmy Shergill

Happy an Indian girl reaches Pakistan by mistake when she tries to run away with her lover on her wedding day. Her lover, her would be husband (who she left) try to get her back from Pakistan, while a young politician from Pakistan helps her get home.

Good:

  • The positive message of the movie was the biggest plus point of the movie. it shows how there is nothing but love between the people of both countries, and how they are the same people.
  • Star performance supported the movie a lot, specially Diana, she was really impressive in her role, her quirky, devil may care act was really appealing, plus she looks really pretty. Ali Fazal did a great job at times, specially the emotional scenes, he faltered a little with the drunk scene but it could be Ignored. Piyush Mishra as the COP Usman Afridi was brilliant, some of the best laughs I had was from his character. Abhay Deol did his part amazingly as well.
  • It was a family entertainer, with clean comedy. for me it's a big thing, considering today's domination of vulgar comedies. it proves that you don't need to be vulgar to be funny.
Bad:
  • I didn't care for Jimmy Shergill's character. not that his acting was not good, but his character was a lot like his character from Tanu weds Manu, and a lot of his acting seemed repetitive.
  • At times the chemistry between Diana Penty and Ali Fazal just vanishes, mostly because Ali can't hold his end of the act. One minute they look good together and the next, it just looks like they don't belong together.
Final Word:
I really liked the movie, it was a fun family entertainer, and I would recommend it to all of you.

Review: Suicide Squad

Director: David Ayer
Writer: David Ayer
Stars: Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, and more.

*Spoiler Alert*

What if The next Superman is a villain/and wants to enslave us? that's the question that led to the creation of The Suicide Squad. Amanda Waller is concerned about the safety of human kind, in case someone like superman, comes to earth and turns out to be evil and endangers human kind? So she puts together a team of super villains to defend Earth. And one of the super villains (Enchantress) turns out to be the threat that wants to wipe out the Human race.

Good:
I don't know why this movie had such bad reviews, because frankly I loved it.
to be specific:

  • For me The movie belongs to Deadshot. Will Smith has done an extraordinarily fantastic job. He is bad ass, He is witty, He has a sense of humour in a serious tone that just attracts you from the beginning, and I loved it. His emotional side will definitely attract you. His story with his daughter really adds to that.
  • They have showed the emotional sides to Super villains, and that looks amazing. it really makes you feel for Them. and the way they portrayed it, is amazing. specially Harley Quinn, no matter how cold blooded she makes you believe she is, deep down she is soft and full of love.
  • Chemistry between the Stars is another highlight of the movie. specially between Deadshot and captain Flag, its a different kind of chemistry when they hate each other, and its another kind of chemistry when they start to get along and even care for each other, but its always there. then there is the chemistry between Harley Quinn and deadshot, that appeals to you on a different level.
  • Joker and Harley Quinn's story, is the new standard of love stories, They will do anything for each other and to be with each other. Its actually when Harley thinks she lost Mr J, that we get to see The Soft on the inside, emotional Harley Quinn. The Joker proves it more than one times in the movie, that he will always be there for her.
  • I loved the cameos in the movie, i-e Batman, and The Flash. I was hoping that The Batman that cameo in the movie would be Ben Affleck's Batman and I loved it when I found out  that it was. The Flash cameo was a surprise for me, and I must say a very happy surprise.
  • I was kinda worried about the action, because in the past DC lacked good action, but I must say we don't have that problem here. the action in fact is really good. there is a scene where Deadshot kills every bad guy (except for his team) single-handedly, while standing on top of a car, that just blew my mind.
  • The movie has a lot of comedy, and considering the fact that this is a DC movie, it's a really big thing. But what I loved was the fact that they had comedy, and they made the movie more fun, but they stayed true to DC, i-e the movie was still as dark as you would expect a DC movie to be.
Bad:
  • First and foremost let's talk about The Joker. I really liked him. Jared Leto absolutely was amazing in his own way as the joker. but the thing is he wasn't given enough screen time in the movie.
  • I din't care for the Villain ( Enchantress) at all. she was the same old cliched villain who as usual wants to wipe out humanity and rule the world.
  • There is a time when you get confused about the villain, because Enchantress is kind of MIA, and the joker is acting like the villain, and then things go back to original, but in that time you can't help but feel that may be The Joker would have been way better as main villain than Enchantress, and may be they should have avoided Enchantress all together.
Final Word:
It's a must watch. I loved it and I would recommend it to you guys.

Review: Rustom

Director: Dharmendra Suresh Desai
Writer: Vipul K. Rawal
Stars: Akshay Kumar, Ileana, Esha Gupta.

Commander of the Indian navy is accused of murdering his wife's lover when he finds out she cheated on him. It gets interesting when the officer pleads not guilty. whats the hidden story? is he guilty? that's the story.

Good:
Let me say it first and foremost I loved the movie, it is nothing short of brilliant.

  • Akshay kumar. This man has been doing brilliant movies lately, and Rustom is one of those. His acting, his expression, specially when he finds out about his wife's affair, reads the letters, and then couldn't understand what just happened, priceless!! His character is a true gentleman, and Akshay did it brilliantly.
  • Ileana is amazing. I personally am not a Fan of hers, but this time she has really outdone herself.
  • The story is amazing if you don't compare it to 'The Nanavati case" and it shouldn't be compared.
Bad:
There is not much you can dislike about the movie, but like any movie it has a few minor flaws. Like:
  • It is supposed to be a serious court room drama, but in the curt room, there is an overall non-serious attitude. I don't know what they were trying to achieve, but it didn't go well for me. The prosecution lawyer is always objecting and is funny in his behavior, plus the judge is joking around with the lawyer, and everyone is clapping, I didn't care for all that "comedy?" they tried to shove in a serious court room drama.

Review: Mohenjo Daro

Director: Ashutosh Gowariker
Writers: Ashutosh Gowariker, Preeti Mamgain
Stars: Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Hegde, Kabir Bedi, and more.

Sarman is a farmer, who goes to Mohenjo Daro to sell his produce, but there he meets a girl, chaani, who is considered to be a blessing for the city, and he falls in love with her. when he decides to stay he finds out that the ruler of the city is cruel to the people, so he decides to stand for the people. Soon he finds out that his father was once the Ruler of that city and that the cruel ruler had him killed years ago.

Good:

  • The biggest plus for the movie was Hrithik Roshan's performance. he completely sinks into his character. He acted brilliantly, and looks actually looks really believable as a poor farmer trying to earn an honest living. in many dialogues and a few dance steps he reminded me of Rohit from koi mil gaya, and I loved it.
  • The non CGI part of Mohenjo Daro, i-e the actual set, looked really great, it gave a feeling of an ancient civilization. I don't know how Mohenjo Daro looked according to historians, but the set through which they showed it was pretty awesome.
  • The music of A.R Rahman was awsome. it suited the theme and location of the movie perfectly. anytime time the music plays in the background it matches the scene. (what the scene represents)
Bad:
  • First and foremost, I said in the "GOOD" part of the review that I loved the set of Mohenjo Daro, and now I feel obliged to tell you that the set was great, but they ruined it with CGI. anytime the city has been shown through CGI, mostly the look from above where the whole city is shown, is really bad. actually any CGI in the movie was really bad, it looked fake.
  • They started the movie with a weird language, that sounded like it was blended with Hindi, but we didn't have subtitles I didn't get what they was saying and it bothered me. they only did it for like the start, and they came to the normal language, it didn't make any sense.
  • Chaani was supposed to be a girl from an ancient city, but for that role she is way too "2016". her act, her way of talking everything looks out of time, and out of place. Pooja hegde is really beautiful and extremely good on the eyes, but her character could have been a lot stronger. All she did in the movie was look pretty, and talk like she traveled from the future.
  • The Story is highly predictable. you see all the twists coming from a mile.
  • I didn't care for the ending at all, firstly because, the ending showed us how Mohenjo Daro was destroyed, and highly doubt it that what they showed was historically accurate. secondly, the end looked to me inspired from the story of Moses, a hero leading his people across the sea to save them from an evil ruler where the evil dictator dies by the very sea. Am I the only who think it's exactly the same as Moses and the people of Egypt?
Final Word:
Its an entertaining movie,, but you could probably wait for it to come out on DVD.

Review: Coke Studio Season 9 Episode 1

Coke Studio season 9 is off to an explosive start, the first episode is full of amazing music and amazing vocals. Although it is way too early to compare it to the super hit season 8, but I gotta admit from the first episode its looking pretty good. lets have a look at the songs in the first episode of season 9. and this not at all the ranking of the songs, I am just typing as they come in to mind.

1- Sasu Mangay, Naseebo Lal & Umair Jaswal

Sung by Naseebo Lal, and Umer jaswal and music is directed by Shiraz Uppal. this one is a coke studio version of an old folk song.
music is what Coke studio is known for and they have done it again with this song. Naseebo Lal's part was the almost the same as the original song, and it couldn't have been a problem for an experienced singer like her, and she did good for her part, what was the deciding pat for me was Umair Jaswal's part and to be honest at first I was kind of disappointed but then he sang the "HOYA KI HAAL MERA, RAB JANDA" and I was sold, he nailed it perfectly, and after that he was amazing. plus the Studio's music specially the drums with that part is fantastic. and overall it was a good song.

2- Aaja Re Moray Saiyaan, Zeb Bangash

Sung by Zeb Bangash with supporting vocals and directed by Noori, it's on original song by Ali hamza from Noori. The song has a hindi touch to it and I must say when blended with coke studio's music it sounds really good. Zeb's voice like always is sweet and touching, and she did an amazing job with this song. the music is really good and complements the song perfectly.
overall for me this one was really good.

3- Aaqa, Abida Parveen & Ali Sethi

For me Coke Studio's music has always worked best with sufi songs, and this song just proved that point. Gulzar sahab once said that "when Abida Parveen calls, Allha listens." when it comes to sufi songs, her voice is just made for it, fantastic job by the great Abida Parveen sahiba. but I should also mention that Ali Sethi was no way less in any way, he was right there with Abida parveen. and did an equally great job. This was my favourite track from the first episode.

4-Janay Na Tu, Ali Khan

This was the first time a heard Ali khan's Sweet and mesmerizing voice. I can't believe I haven't heard him before. I loved his voice and the way he sang the song. everything in this song was great, the lyrics, the vocals, the music (obviously), but it's a really different song than all the other songs in coke studio, you normally don't experience modern song like this in coke studio, we usually get new versions of old hit songs, or new songs in a really classical or sufi way, but this was different, and sadly I didn't like it as much as the other typical Coke studio songs. it is a great song with regards to the vocals and singing and music, but I think it just doesn't fit in coke studio. plus they started the song really good bit ended it only okay.( I hope that make sense).

Review: Sausage Party

Director: Greg Tiernan,  Conard vernon.
Stars:  Seth Rogan, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill and more

Sausage party is an adult comedy about stuff from the super market. Humans are believed to be like angels and the human world is believed to be like heaven among all the products from the supermarket. But of course that's not true, we human want to kill them and cook them and eat them. one young sausage takes it upon himself to warn other products and tell them the truth about the human world.

Good:

  • A simple job like eating is shown to us from the point of view of the ones we eat, i-e the products. And I must say its Hilarious as hell. plus the occasional background commentary is kind of naughty in a funny sense and it's a contributing factor to the movie being so funny.

Bad:

  • The jokes are hilarious but it the same time its offensive. some people might take it as a joke and laugh but others might get seriously offended.
  • I didn't care for the ending of the movie. it was really over the top and unrealistically gross, even for an animated movie.
Final Word:
At the end of the day, the movie made me laugh as hell, and I would recommend it to all of you.
just bear in mind, although it is an animated movie, I would strongly suggest you not to take your kids with you.

Review: Pete's Dragon

Director: David Lowery
Writers: David Lowery, Toby Halbrook.
Stars: Bryce Dallas Howard, Robert Redford, Oakes Fegley and others.

A boy named Pete has been living in the woods for 6 years, and A dragon named Elliot has been helping him survive in the woods. how the boy finds home and family is the story called Pete's Dragon..

Good:
People looking for a god family time would love this one.

  • Its a heartfelt movie, filled with family love and emotions. and a little boy finding family. through out the movie you feel it.
  • Its a good entertainer, and can be watched with family.
Bad:
A good entertainer, a good family movie, but sadly not as good a movie as I expected.
  • The movie is called "Pete's Dragon" but the Dragon named Elliot is not in the movie that much. You see him in the beginning a little and then he is absent for a long time and because of that you don't care when he is absent. Contrary to the name the movie is not really about Pete and his dragon, but rather about pete finding a home and family.
  • Because Elliot the dragon has so little screen time, Pete and Elliot's relationship does not really appeal to you.
Final Word:
I would say it's an avoidable movie at the theater. You can watch it when it comes out on DVD.

PINK | Official Trailer | Amitabh Bachchan | Shoojit Sircar | Taapsee Pannu

Director: Aniruddha Roy Chawdhury
Writer: Ritesh Shah
Stars: Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu, Piyush Mishra and others.

The Movie is going to be about a very serious issue, i-e the safety of women in India, How girls are targeted by everyone in the society, How they are helpless.
Amitabh Bachchan gives a really powerful and wonderful performance, Tapsee Pannu is amazing and moving. I am sure this will be a great movie.
The movie comes out 16 september 2016, until then enjoy the trailer:

Review: Batman The Killing Joke

*Spoilers alert*

Director: Sam Liu
Stars: Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Tara Strong, Ray Wise, and more.

Joker has escaped and batman is after him. joker's mission is to drive detective Gordon insane to prove a pint that a simple man can become crazy like him if he is forced to. he attacks the Gordon family, paralyses Barbara Gordon AKA Batgirl and takes Detective Gordon with him. and batman goes after him to stop him.

Good:
I really enjoyed the movie, it had its flaws but overall it was a really good movie, with a real heart to it. to be specific:

  • I loved the Joker. I loved the way he is shown in the movie and most of all I loved his back story and the story telling of the back story. when you see the side of the joker where he is a common  man, and a failed comedian trying so hard to support and provide for his family, and how unfortunate circumstances turned him into the heartless Joker, you really feel for him.
  • The final scene where Joker tells a joke and then laughs so hard that he makes batman laugh too and then they both laugh so hard, it was my favourite scene, I laughed even harder than them.
Bad:
I admit it was a really enjoyable and great movie but it had a lot of flaws that bugged me. specifically:
  • First of all I gotta say, The first 30 minutes of the movie are absolutely useless, it has nothing to do with Joker who is the main villain, and it is kind of his story.
  • The sex scene between Batgirl and Batman is CREEPY. there are a lot of reasons for that, first of all he is old. second of all batman is like a father figure to Barbara. plus she is the girlfriend and was the fiance (at one point) of Dick Grayson, who is batman's adopted son.
  • Batman was really good in the movie, but I gotta admit I wanted more Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne had only one scene in the movie, that too in the bat suit only without the Cape.
  • Joker tortured Detective Gordon, paralyzed Barbara Gordon, in my opinion batman should have killed him, if not kill him then letting him go, standing there laughing with him, offering to work together, is completely unacceptable for me.
Final Word:
Its an enjoyable and entertaining movie, but it has its problems, I would say if you avoided this one in the theater you have done good. watch it on DVD its a one time movie.

Review: Star Trek Beyond

Director: Justin Lin
Writers: Simon Pegg, Doug Jung,
Stars:  Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, and more.

*Spoilers Alert*

In Star Trek beyond the enterprise goes beyond to explore the uncharted space, where they get stranded on a planet where they face a  new ruthless enemy. That's Star trek beyond in a nutshell.

Good:
Star Trek Beyond was entertaining, and didn't disappoint me at all.  I actually enjoyed it. to be specific:

  • I loved the fact that this movie is also really a cool action movie of this age but it also goes back and does what we all loved about the original old school Star trek. we all complained the reboot does not have the"HEART" that the original movies had, and that this is just an action franchise now, but guess what Star trek beyond might prove you wrong in that aspect.
  • I liked the Villain. the first movie in the reboot series had a really weak villain, and this movie did not have benedict cumberbatch who was there in the sequel, so I was kinda worried, but I actually liked the villain.
  • Another thing I liked was the emotional bonding between the characters. that was actually one of the contributing factors to the movie having a heart. (for me at least)
Bad:
  • The movie was a good entertainment but it lacked that WOW factor. It failed to surprise us with anything new. even if they reveal something big you kinda already see it coming from a mile.

Final Word:
It was  predictable at times, but it was a good entertainer, Go watch it!

Review: Dishoom

Director: Rohit Dhawan
Writers: Rohit Dhawan, Tushar Hiranandani,
Stars: Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, John Abraham.

The Star player of the Indian cricket team has been kidnapped in Dubai, by someone who can make a lot of money if  India loses the final against Pakistan, and he believes that without that one star player there is no way India can win. the case is given to an Indian police officer who partners with a newly recruited officer in the Dubai police who is also an Indian.

Good:
The movie was suppose to entertain and it did that. specifically:

  • John Abraham as the rough and tough, all the time serious Cop Kabir, is Excellent, His performance suits him completely. and I must say he has done an amazing job with his role. same goes for Varun dhawan, his cahracter, Junaid, is this funny,  full of life, non-serious, Cop with a golden heart, and I think no one cold have been better suited than Varun for this character. Varun has done the role wonderfully.
  • The chemistry between Varun and John is really good, it's a big contributing factor to the movie being so entertaining.
  • It might not be a big point for some of you, but for me IT IS, considering the situation of comedies in bollywood now a days, I really like the comedy in the movie, it was funny but clean, it made me laugh but it didn't get vulgar.
Bad:
Its a typical bollywood masala entertainer, it does entertain you but most of the movie does not make sense, which I guess is common for a masala movie. lets get into the specifics:
  • An Indian police officer working on a case in Dubai, has to follow Dubai's rules and regulations, it doesn't make sense that a super cop from India can do whatever the hell he wants in Dubai, breaks any law he wants to, including putting a gun on the head of an officer from the Dubai police on his first day in Dubai, and gets away with everything.
  • Surprisingly majority of the police force in Dubai is Indian. it could have been more realistic if Junaid (Varun) was the only one Indian in the police force.
  • The kidnapped player is found by a dog who has a camera in his collar put there by Junaid when he brings the Dog back home. its a really big co-incidence and quite frankly it doesn't make much sense.
Final Word:
If you like masala entertainers which most of the time does not make sense, then you will enjoy this one, as its really entertaining and it will give you quite a few good laughs as well. But if you are a class movies lover and look for logic and sense in movies then definitely avoid it.

Review: A Hologram for the King

Director: Tom Tykwer
Writers: Dave Eggers, Tom Tykwer
Stars: Tom Hanks, Alexander Black, Saritha Chaudhury.

A hologram for the King is the story of a failed businessman who tries to sell his idea of a hologram to the King of Saudi Arabia. where he gets to know life in saudi arabia which is hard. He finds new friends, and a new life.

Good:

  • Star Performance was probably the Biggest selling point of the movie. specifically Tom Hanks as Alan and Alexander Black as Yousef. Both did a splendid job with their roles. the scene where they are passing through the famous mosque "The Haram", in the holy city of Makka, and Tom hanks folds his hands out respect, and the way he looks at "The Haram", mesmerized me,
  • Some things shown about the wealthy class of Arab is true and I loved the way they showed their true faces, eg the fact that they look down on the lower class, or anyone that is not them.
Bad:
  • The whole Story seemed flawed to me, it began good, the whole business point of view of the movie i-e "The Hologram" was portrayed really good. but I don't think the Love story between the lady doctor and Alan was necessary, the movie could actually have been better if that angle had been avoided.

  • The movie gets really unrealistic at places, eg, there is a scene where yousef Just turns around in the middle of the road without even slowing down, or caring for the cars following him, I am pretty sure you can't do that in Saudi Arabia, they have really strict law. Also its not likely to find a cab driver who is Arab, most of them are foreigners, and at the beginning Alan is drove to the Hotel by an Arab cab driver.
Final Word:
If I hadn't done this review so late, I would have said to avoid this one at the theaters, but since its already out on DVD, I would suggest Watch it, its a good one time entertainment.

Review: Jason Bourne

Review: Jason Bourne

Jason Bourne is back and he wants to kick some ass. He knows everything about his past and his identity. He is off the grid and trying to survive. But then Nicky Parson, a former agency operative and Bourne's friend and ally from the past reaches him and shows him some files that unveils the truth about his past.

Good:
  • Matt Damon is fantastic, he proved it that he is Jason Bourne. And I must say he has still got it. I loved his performance.

  • The movie was enjoyable and entertaining and it didn't disappoint me and that was a big thing for me, because I know it's really hard to come back after such a long time and not disappoint. Bravo! The whole team.

  • There are times when they kind of reminds you that this is the Bourne from the past, eg, the theme music from the first 3 Bourne movies, that plays in this movie every time Bourne is about to do something kick ass, or in the end, when the music tells you that Bourne is always one step ahead of you. I loved that connection.

Bad:
  • Unfortunately the movie didn't have anything new. Everything it offered. We have seen it already in a lot of secret agent movies, including the Bourne series.

Final Word:
Its not as great as good as the first 3 Bourne movies, but it's still really good and entertaining, I would recommend you guys to watch it.

Review: Nerve

Directors: Henry Joost, Ariel Schulman
Writers: Jeanne Ryan, Jessica Sharzer
Stars: Emma Roberts, Dave Franco.

A high school girl, finds herself in an online game, that is sort of like truth or dare, but it only has dares. she starts playing the game when her friend tell her that she needs to take chances with your life, (she is sort of a "good girl" and doesn't really live life to the fullest) she decides to take a chance and starts playing this online game called "Nerve" where she is teamed up with Dave Franco.

Good:

  • I liked Emma Roberts performance in the movie, she really sells that "Good Girl" act and then equally the bad ass girl when she starts playing the Game. and I also would like to add that she is very beautiful too.
  • The Game itself is really very intriguing, and really thrilling. Several times it made me wonder, what I would have done in a similar situation.

Bad:

  • The movie, or you can say the game, is not that realistic at times. when you see the movie and they are playing the game you can tell at times that here the game could have easily gotten rg sexual or gross, but it never does, it sort of stays in its own limits. and you just know that had a game like this existed it could have never worked in these limits.
  • The final act was just too over the top for me. I mean it made me feel like they kind of went too far with that act.
Final Word:
Its not a extraordinary movie, but it's still a good entertainer. I enjoyed it. and I suggest you watch it too.

The Great Wall - Official Trailer

Director:Yimou Zhang
Stars: Matt Damon, Willem Dafoe, Pedro Pascal and more.

The Tag line says "What were they trying to keep out?" and of course they are talking about the great wall of China.
A movie based  on the idea that the great wall of china was built to keep monsters out.
I must say Matt Damon looks like the role was made for him. but then that's how he looks in every role ;-). but jokes apart, I loved Matt in the Trailer and I am sure I will love him in the movie.
The movie promises a lot of action, a lot of thrills, and great monsters.
movie comes out to theaters on 17 Feb 2017.

"SARSARIYA" Video Song | MOHENJO DARO | A.R. RAHMAN | Hrithik Roshan Pooja Hegde |

A.R Rahman's Music, Hrithik Roshan's Charisma, Pooja Hegde's beauty and Elegance and the Visual treat that is the set of Mohenjo Daro. What more does a great Song take?
Sarsariya is the new song released of the upcoming Period Love story, Drama Mohenjo Daro, Starring Hrithek Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
The song has a lot of great things, from great composing to great vocals, to amazing actors but what appealed to me the most was how they have shown Mohenjo Daro, its truly breathtaking. I for one can agree that surely that is the way Mohenjo Daro would have looked. I loved it. and now I am even more excited for the movie.

Enjoy the visual treat that is Sarsariya the song, right here:

My favourites from the san diego Comic Con 2016

1. Wonder woman

DC dropped the first official trailer of wonder woman at the sdcc 2016. and I must say it was the best thing I saw at the SDCC.
To start with Gal Gadot is absolutely stunning as Wonder woman. specially the scene where she is climbing up from the trench amidst the war (world War 1).
I always had my issues with DC and there Fighting scenes but I must say Wonder Woman is kick ass as hell. Specially that scene  where she slides on her shield and knocks down a bad guy. I am absolutely looking forward to it.
It seems they are staying true to the comics, and Steve trevor and wonder Woman will have a romantic relationship.
the trailer show wonder Woman standing up for equality, she will not be told by a man what she should do and she considers a man telling a woman what to do "Slavery".
We get out first look at Theyscira, and its Mesmerizing.
I have High expectations from this one, lets see what happens when the movie comes out.
enjoy the trailer:

2. Justice League

The first footage from the Justice league  was shown at the SDCC. personally when I see ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne anywhere, I am sold. but I must admit there were a lot more awesome stuff in the trailer than just Bruce Wayne. Now it's not a full trailer as the movie is still under process, The trailer shows us that Bruce Wayne is recruiting people with super human abilities to form the justice league.
For me Aqua man Stole the show. he is so bad ass and Strong. i think Jason momoa is the perfect choice. the scene here aqua man is standing and THE freaking Ocean Hits him, its breathtaking.
I had my doubts about The Flash, after Ezra miller in Batman v Superman, and partly because I personally am a fan of grant Gustin's The Flash. but I must Say I really Liked our new Flash, more than I expected. that moment when Bruce Wayne throws a Batarang at him, and time slows down (because he is the Flash) and he looks at the Batarang and then realizes that this is batman and then catches the Batarang, that is an absolutely amazing scene.
it seems like DC is going the Marvel way, as in they seem to be introducing a lot of humor in this movie and Wonder woman, and also the tone of the movies is a lot lighter. may be now we can finally give rest to the debate of DC vs Marvel.
Enjoy the footage:

3. Doctor Strange

Marvel dropped the second trailer of Doctor Strange. First of all let me tell you why I am excited about Doctor Strange. It;s not a typical Superhero story where normally there is a guy with super human ability or insane training and becomes a vigilante or joins a league of some sorts. here we have a gentlemen who masters Magic, His nick name literally is The Sorcerer Supreme. we will get to see some mind bending scenarios in this movie.
The CGI looks like nothing before, its fantastic.
And benedict cumberbatch as Doctor Strange is absolutely fabulous. I can't stress it enough How much I love him as the Sorcerer supreme. that scene where he throws back his cape while walking, OMG its so bad ass.
we saw the villain of the movie, i-e Kaecilius played by Mads Mikkelsen.
I am excited a lot about this movie, and I am sure it wont disappoint.
Enjoy the trailer:

4. Spider Man Homecoming

The first teaser of Spider man homecoming was shown at SDCC. it was a small footage and doesn't reveal much about the movie. it shows peter parker Admiring girls from a far, doing his geeky Science Stuff, and of course fighting crime.
One thing that was confirmed was the fact that it's going to be a high school movie. and frankly that's what I wanted. and that;s how it was supposed to be.
another thing that was confirmed was the villain, its going to be Vulture. (shown in the poster I have attached).
let wait for the full trailer to know more.

5. Guardians of the Galaxy 2

A Small footage of Guardians of the galaxy was also shown at the SDCC, including a cameo from Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell's Ego. Th footage Shows the guardian fighting against some sort of alien beast. it shows that the movie will have a lot of humor like the first one. and that's about it. considering the fact that the movie is still in production, that's all they can show for now. but I must admit that's all it took for me to be hooked.

6. Marvel's Iron Fist

We Saw our first teaser of Marvel's Iron Fist that will air on netflix.
The teaser starts by showing the origin story of Danny Rand played by Finn jones. the origin story is true to the comics, there plane crashes in the mountain and he is found by some monks who are from the Secret city of  K'un L'un. There is he is trained in martial arts and also given super powers, as shown in the trailer when he punches the door and throws it quite far away. the trailer pretty much tells us what the Show will be all about. I am pretty excited about it, lets see how it turns out when we see the it.
enjoy the teaser for now:

Top 3 Superheroes of both the big screen and the small, in my opinion.

1. Captain America Trilogy

The Sentinel of liberty, The patriotic, the brave, the courageous, the one who would sacrifice himself again and again to do the right thing, I could go on and on, but there aren't enough adjectives to describe him, God's righteous man, Captain America.
When the first Captain america movie (in the MCU)) came out in 2011, I had no idea who captain america was, or What the Marvel cinematic universe was, I only had a little idea about Marvel and DC. but I didn't know there was a war going on between them.
when I watched the movie I was instantly hooked. Its safe to say that Captain America introduced me to all the awesomeness that is the Superhero universe.
The first movie was not really liked by many, but for me it was and still is one of the best. it might have had something to do with Chris Evans playing the character, or the Awesome story, or Captain America's traits that make him THE CAPTAIN, but I loved it.
people thought that captain america didn't have what it took to have a good sequel, he didn't have a flying suit, he wasn't an alien, he wasn't anything that people were used to seeing in a superhero.
But in 2014 the winter soldier came out and it broke all the records and all the doubts people had about The Captain, it was in every way an improvement and it was awesome,
Then in 2016, Civil War came out, basically an avengers movie but they named it after Captain america, that alone should tell you how much everyone loves captain america. that being said the movie was amazing. people always complained that marvel can't have meaningful stories or emotionally strong characters, and once again The Captain to the rescue, once again Captain america gave us a well directed, well acted amazing movie.

2. The Dark Knight Trilogy

The billionaire playboy who is the bat vigilante at night, a nightmare for the bad guys, that's Batman.
Who doesn't love The Dark knight trilogy? Some will argue that it's the best superhero trilogy ever made.
personally, even when I was not familiar with DC and Marvel, I knew Batman. Liking batman was somehow inside me since childhood. When I first watched the Dark knight trilogy I had no idea about any universes in the superhero genre or anything. I loved the trilogy judging it solely based on being just a movie, and even then I was mesmerized.
Every movie in the Dark knight trilogy is amazing. the Dark Gotham, the absolutely serious and troubled Batman, everything related to those movies has its own charm and its own appeal. until The dark knight Trilogy came out superhero movies mostly had no story, no meaning, just a superhero trying to take down a super villain. The Dark knight trilogy changed that. it proved that even superheroes can have emotions, past, a good story.

3. Marvel's Daredevil

Crime fighting lawyer by day and crime fighting vigilante by night, the blind hero of hell's kitchen is the one they call The Daredevil.
Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix, for me is like the Dark knight trilogy of the small screen.
it proved that marvel can go dark if they want to. and it works perfectly. it did for superhero TV shows, what the Dark knight Trilogy did for big screen movies. we have seen 2 seasons and both were awesome, and rest assured more brilliance is on its way.
we get to see such brilliance on TV, isn't it a good time to be alive?

The classic Review: The untouchables

Director: Brian de palma
Writer: David Mamet
Stars: Robert de niro, Kevin costner, Sean Connery, Andy Garcia and others.

The disease that is bootlegging, has chicago in it's hold. And Agent Elliot ness has taken it on himself to stop it once and for all. Jim malone, a beat cop helps ness to build a team called the untouchables. They recruite Agent George stone from the police academy and an accountant from the Washington bureau joins in who later turns in to a gun blazing agent like the rest of them. The only objective of the team is to put a man named Al Capone behind bars.

Good:
The Star performance of the movie is flawless, absolutely amazing. Specially sean connery as Jim malone. But it doesn't mean the rest of them were any less great.
For a crime drama, I was surprised how much the emotional side of the movie appealed to me. Every time a member of the team dies, they care, they weep, and they truly show emotional attachment, i really liked it.
The scene where, Kevin Costner is fighting the bad guys in the train station,s stairs, and a baby in a push chair is sliding down the stairs, and right when the kid is about to reach the end of the stairs where one of the bad guy is waiting, and Andy garcia throws one gun to Kevin costner, and slides to put his leg to stop the push chair, Kevin Costner, shoots the bad guy at the end of the stairs and they save the baby while managing to kill everyone except a couple of bad guys. That scen made me clap for them, thats how much I liked it.
The visuals of the movie are so mesmerizing. The locales are so genuine according to the plot of the movie.

Bad:
To be honest, I didn't really find anything that bad about the movie, just one thing, Robert de niro as Al Capone is truly amazing, but considering the fact that he is the main villain, he has very less screen time than I expected. I think his role could have been expanded a Little.

Final word:
If you haven't seen it you should definitely. It is a classic, and it is brilliant.
